Dynamic. Driven. Devoted. These three words only begin to describe Lindsay and Todd Filsinger, an extraordinary couple whose energy and passion leave a lasting impression on everyone they encounter. As longtime volunteers, donors, and advocates for Escuela de Guadalupe, the Filsingers have made an indelible impact on the school and the Denver community at large.

Todd is the visionary leader behind Filsinger Energy Partners (FEP), a consulting powerhouse specializing in energy and the power infrastructure, including risk management, wildfire mitigation planning, and restructuring services. Under his guidance, FEP has become a leader in its field, known not only for innovative solutions but also for an unwavering commitment to community values. Lindsay, the creative force behind the company’s marketing and branding, extends her leadership into philanthropy, driving the couple’s efforts to uplift causes across the Denver metro area. Together, they embody the spirit of service, with Escuela de Guadalupe holding a special place in their hearts.

Filsingers and Escuela de Guadalupe

Lindsay’s connection to Escuela began more than a decade ago, when a simple invitation to attend an “Escuela 101” lunch changed her life.

“I instantly fell in love with the kids, the teachers and staff, and the powerful program that is changing lives and breaking cycles,” she recalls.

Since then, she has dedicated over 12 years to the school as a board member, including serving as Chair, and as a tireless advocate. Her involvement has been hands-on and transformative.

Lindsay played a pivotal role in Escuela’s relocation and the addition of its middle school. These bold moves, she notes, “were scary and exciting, but they ensure our alumni get into good high schools and, eventually, good colleges.”

Volunteers at Escuela

Additionally, FEP has consistently stepped up as a key supporter of Escuela, with employees volunteering regularly and the company serving as the Presenting Sponsor of Salud, the school’s annual fundraising gala. Their involvement proves that the Filsingers don’t just talk about values—they live them.

Outside of their professional and philanthropic endeavors, Lindsay and Todd are a whirlwind of activity. Whether it’s tennis matches, rounds of golf, or keeping up with their three daughters, the Filsingers bring the same drive and enthusiasm to their personal lives. Todd’s work often takes him from Colorado to California to Hawaii, yet the couple remains deeply rooted in their Denver community.

Their love story, too, is a testament to their partnership and faith. They have renewed their vows multiple times with close friends as witnesses. Guided by their Catholic faith, they strive to bring kindness and purpose to everything they do.

The Filsingers’ impact extends far beyond Escuela de Guadalupe. In partnership with Mile High United Way, they have spearheaded a homelessness prevention campaign, further demonstrating their commitment to creating a better future for all. Yet, it’s their enduring support of Escuela that remains one of their most cherished contributions.

As Lindsay puts it, “The program is breaking cycles.”

Through their dedication and generosity, Lindsay and Todd Filsinger are not just breaking cycles—they’re building legacies. Their work at Escuela de Guadalupe ensures that generations of students will have the tools they need to succeed, inspiring the entire Denver community along the way.
