
On January 22, 2025, the Daniels Fund announced its list of finalists for the coveted Daniels Scholarship Program. Among the finalists were three alumni from Escuela de Guadalupe!
- Valeria Janzen, currently attending Arrupe Jesuit High School
- Anahi Ortiz, currently attending Arrupe Jesuit High School
- Julie Valenzuela-Lucero, currently attending Regis Jesuit High School
Finalists have been invited to participate in a personal interview conducted by local community leaders in February and March. The winning Daniels Scholarship recipients will be announced in late March 2025.
The Daniels Scholarship, along with generous contributions from partner schools, covers the full cost of attendance at partner schools within Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. Scholars who choose to attend a school outside the 4-state region receive up to $25,000 a year for qualified educational expenses.

The Daniels Scholarship Program is part of the Daniels Fund, which was founded by Bill Daniels. Bill was a cable television pioneer known for his compassion for those in need and his unwavering commitment to ethics and integrity.

- Academic performance or promise
- Well-rounded personality
- Emotional maturity and stability
