Announcing Escuela de Guadalupe's New President



Escuela de Guadalupe is excited to announce that Mr. Paul Dull will join the Escuela community as our new President, effective February 1, 2017.

Paul Dull holds a BS in Biology from the University of Michigan, a Master’s in Educational Administration from Michigan State University, and a philosophy degree from Sacred Heart Major Seminary. Mr. Dull served as a lay missionary for over ten years.

An international expert in spiritual formation, character building, and leadership development in youth, he did campus ministry at the University of Michigan, the University of Costa Rica, as well as the University of the Philippines. He also directed “Tahanan ng Panginoon” an outreach to the youth of the squatter towns of Manila, The Philippines. In each of these ministries, he helped develop, fund, and implement a holistic program founded on a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, re-integration with the Church, and access to excellent education.

In his second career in formal education, he has focused on spiritual connections in education, building positive school culture, serving under-resourced communities, and empowering teachers to teach out of their passion and strengths. Most recently, he was the Principal, Retreat Director, and Fund Developer of The Potter’s House High School, a college-prep high school in Grand Rapids, MI focused largely on the urban poor. Consisting predominantly of under-resourced minorities as well as refugees from 25 countries, The Potter’s House, graduates 100% of its students and 95% go to college.

While his passion is education, his wife, Rosa (born in Mexico), and their two daughters, Rebecca 18 years, and Danielle, 16 years, are the love of his life. He enjoys theological and philosophical inquiry and discourse. He loves language and travel and is fluent in Spanish and Tagalog (Filipino). He likes to read, camp, play sports, play guitar, and paint (water color).
